![]() The summer is in full force and many people are on the virtue of making a decision what to use to support the skin so it does not get burned. My complexion is very fair, so every summer I was burned. In fact my skin was pilling every year a few times over. I guess I just needed a new skin, and that was successfully accomplished. I never use any protection on my skin, as when I was growing up none was available. When it was finally available I didn't like the ingredients, so I just continued to burn. I was not aware that natural oils can have SPF. I didn't even know what SPF really means. It is the "Sun Protection Factor". The amount of time that it takes for the skin to burn after being exposed to the without any product applied may be prolonged by applying sunscreens. When looking at the SPF number you simply multiply by the original number as according to the experts it takes that much longer before the skin would be burned. For example if it takes 10 minutes for the skin to burn without any product, after applying a product with 8 SPF the burn time would be about 80 minutes (10 x 8 = 80). Many seed and vegetable oils are rich in antioxidants, natural chemicals and vitamin E to support the skin exposed to ultraviolet light. All I know is that I don't want to be burned and I want as natural products on my skin as possible, so I am trying this and see how it works.
